BOYS' LACROSSE, Overnight for 4 days
Session #1: Sunday, June 21st - Thursday, June 25th, 2009
Session #2: Sunday, June 28th - Thursday, July 2nd, 2009
Location : WesleyanUniversity, Middletown, CT
World Class Lacrosse offers top tier instruction, at WesleyanUniversity, and 19 years of providing players of all ages and abilities the best camp experience possible.
Our ratio of campers to staff is 7:1 which creates a wonderful teaching environment. There will be individual/group instruction as well as theory and team play. We will have on-going team and individual competitions throughout the sessions. All campers will receive a detailed written evaluation of their skill level and what they need to do to constantly improve their game. At our closing ceremonies we will announce some special awards, as well as the players named to the WCL All-Star Team.
Dan Lawrence, associate head coach at Maritime College (SUNY) will be the boys’ summer camp director. The boys' staff will also include, but is not limited to: Andrew Fink, head coach at Mt Ida College; Casey D'Annolfo, head coach at Taft; plus other college, prep school, and high school coaches
Tuition:
For resident camp, the tuition is $525 per session. For commuters, the tuition is $425 per session. June 1st is the final deadline for applications to be received... or until camp is filled. Any applications submitted after June 1st will be assessed a late fee.

(Rising Grades 2 - 9) $275
Location : ChaseCollegiateSchool, 565 Chase Parkway, Waterbury ( exit 18)
In this full-day camp, players learn proper individual offensive and defensive stance and technique with focus on shooting, stick checking and positioning. Individual instruction is used to help a new player learn how to catch and throw, or an advanced player learn how to shoot with maximum velocity or to throw a take away check. Team concepts such as proper defensive slide technique and how to create offense with and without the ball are taught later in the week. All campers need to bring at least a stick and helmet, but full equipment is encouraged. All participants receive a snack and a full lunch.

Age: 6 – 15 years

Fee: $125 for Woodbury residents, $130 for non-residents

Coach James Beaudoin has been the Head Coach at Chase since 2007 when the team changed from a club team that had started in 2001, to a full varsity sport at Chase. In just three seasons at the helm Coach Beaudoin has amassed 38 wins and just 10 losses and won their division in 2009 with an undefeated season. Beaudoin was a Division 1 goalie at the University of Vermont and he has had success coaching at private schools all over the East Coast. In 2002 he helped BishopBradySchool in Concord, NH make it to the state finals, and before Chase he helped HamptonRoadsAcademy in Newport News, VA make it into the state playoffs after a five-year drought before he took over the team. Coach Beaudoin was the top DIII coach in Western New England and was chosen to coach the Western DII/III team in the New England Prep All-Star game in 2008 & 2009. He is the head coach of the CT Lynx U18 elite team as well. Beaudoin runs lacrosse camps during the summer at Chase and in Woodbury and is also a full time English teacher in Chase's UpperSchool.
